GeekBench5 has been updated in the Play on Dec 2nd from version 5.4.4 to 5.4.6 cause WA to fail launching GB5. The screen flickers briefly and returns to the home screen. The app is subsequently broken and cannot be launched again. The icon changes and the app must be reinstalled to work again. 5.4.6 works fine if launched manually.

This is tested on a Pixel 6, running Android 12, and custom kernel.

Hi, Thanks for raising this.

To launch an Android app WA relies on the generic Android mechanism, therefore to try and debug this would you be able to run the launch command manually on the device to see if you get the same behaviour?

am start -W -n com.primatelabs.geekbench5/com.primatelabs.geekbench.HomeActivity

I have also tried using the same version with my Nexus5 and do not encounter this problem, do you have another device available to verify whether this is an issue specific to the Pixel 6?
