Placing Amaranth, Maple, and Silverbell leaves shouldn't decay as if they were from a tree. I was decorating, placing leaves like bushes on the side of a house and expected them to not decay.
The Reality
I tested the Natura leaves, and placing them in a row or updating the block while not touching a log makes them decay as if they were from trees. This only happens if they aren't touching a log, so I think maybe some flag about leaves being on trees was left unchecked. Amaranth, Maple, and Silverbell were the just ones I tested that seemed to exhibit this behaviour, I'm unsure if there's more.
Your Proposal
Make the leaves not decay.
Final Checklist
I have searched this issue tracker and there is nothing similar already. Posting on a closed issue saying the bug still exists will prompt us to investigate and reopen it once we confirm your report.
I can reproduce this problem consistently by follow the exact steps I described above, or this does not need reproducing, e.g. recipe loophole.
I have asked other people and they confirm they also have this problem by follow the exact steps I described above, or this does not need reproducing, e.g. recipe loophole.

Can you describe how you acquired the leaves and were placing them. Was it with world edit, or in creative or survival, pulling out of creative menu or NEI or from shearing trees?
