Filesize Bloat - Illusion Overlay Mods v6.0.7 + MoreOutfits 1.1.2 Bug

While using MoreOutfits 1.1.2, pressing the "Remove Last Additional Clothing Slot" button without removing clothing and accessories from those slots will bloat card size, and these overlays return after adding back the Outfit slot. This was supposedly fixed with Illusion Overlay Mods v6.0.7, yet the issue still persists after using the latest HF Patch (3.18).

By saving and reloading the card, overlays would no longer return when making new slots, yet the filesize issue persisted. In one case, I deleted 40+ outfits from one card, yet only saw <1MB difference in size, even after saving and reloading. If I removed all clothing and accessories beforehand, the filesize dropped by over 50 MB.

I've attached a link to the extreme example mentioned above, as the result is too big for Github, apparently.

Full fix would require a partial rewrite of how clothes overlays are stored, including a save data format change. I'm not planning on doing it for now, so I'll leave the issue open.
