Is Material Design 3 good enough for production?

I'm developing a relatively small commercial app on my own, and I love Material Design 3. I've used a lot of controls from this version and so far I haven't had any issues. However, in the README.md the recommendation is to use MD2 for dev. I wanted to know if anyone has already finished developing an app that isn’t just a to-do list, or has played around enough with Material Design 3 to discover any crucial errors so far. Luckily, migrating from MD3 to MD2 is relatively straightforward, but I love the navigation bar, modern toggles, etc. way too much. Thanks a lot in advance, and I’m open to any advice!

What is there is production ready. It just may be incomplete from the full MD3 spec. So if there is a style that you like feel free to leverage it.
