Feature request: Compression of files and directories, eg. archive creation

This seems like the only viable crate that interfaces with libarchive. Are there any plans on adding compression of files and directories, eg. archive creation?

We don't use it for now. However, PR is welcome for review and discussion. Are you willing to work on that?
