Wrong orientation of duplex backsides for HP-Color-LaserJet-Pro-MFP-3302

For all duplex prints the backside is allways upside down, even when changing to long edge or short edge.

I could fix this by removing *cupsBackSide: Rotated
in /etc/cups/ppd/HP-Color-LaserJet-Pro-MFP-3302.ppd

is this a bug?

I'm using mate desktop 1.26 on raspberrypi-os bookworm

what's your CUPS version and cups-filters version?

cups-filters 1.28.17-3+deb12u1

These are quite old versions - can you get the latest versions by any means (the current CUPS version is 2.4.11, cups-filters is in its generation 2.x)?
If it is not possible, can you try setting up a VM of distro which has those versions (like latest Arch Linux, Fedora, Ubuntu...) and trying to print from there?

Additionally please attach your original PPD by copying it with suffix .txt and attaching the file here?
