The FAQ for adding cc-tweaked support to the language server is a bit outdated. Context: faqs/vscode.md. There is a cc-tweaked LuaLS addon on GitLab: carsakiller/cc-tweaked-documentaion. This addon is also included in the LuaLS Addon Manager in VSCode by default.
Not really related to the FAQ changes, but maybe the best thing to do is XKCD 927 this, and roll an official CC:T one. It feels like it should be relatively easy to automatically generate the stub files from illuaminate.

Alternatively there is a forked called nvim-computercraft/lua-ls-cc-tweaked, but it is less maintained and has an unknown future (nvim-computercraft/lua-ls-cc-tweaked#18).
