Add a button or mechanic to allow the user a fast preview of files, like preview in Mac OS. It has to be lightweight, fast, and not open up a new activity.

Searching for some on the internet I realized what I meant way the "space to preview" option. Nevertheless I can't find good images on the web and my Mac died a long time ago.

For image gallery, this is the one I'm using, and it's great for my needs.

I may want to have the image gallery to set screen orientation arbitrarily instead of relying on external apps too ;)

In case you'd add a image preview feature, I kindly ask you to valuate the use case the possibility to swipe between images in the same folder, for UX principles. To check between 2 photos it is kind boring open different apps, or open and close a preview. More over some phone isnt fat to show little preview and it is easier to scroll between a couple of images. Nothing of sophisticated, just as simple as possible. - in case thank you very much!

You will be able to preview a folder with images with a sort of galery, but not swipe previewed images.
