Description

I would like to inform you that with the use of a specific flag, NVIDIA GPUs can be enabled for the container's GUI software. However, only Gazebo is experiencing a flickering issue. I understand that this project doesn’t primarily focus on GPU usage, but I’m wondering if you might have any ideas on how to resolve the flickering problem.

Environment

  • OS Version: 22.04 (jammy-20240808)

System Details:

  • Gazebo Version: Fortress 6.16.0
  • NVIDIA GPU Model: Tesla P100 PCIe 16GB
  • Driver Version: 535.183.01
  • CUDA Version: 12.2
  • OpenGL Version: 4.6 (GLSL 4.6)

Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @SAJIB3489,
Unfortunately, I don’t have the right solution at the moment. Have you tried checking this repository?

Hi @Tiryoh ,
Thank you for getting back to me. I checked that the repository and the repository accelerates GPUs on the KDE Plasma window manager. I am wondering if it is also possible to use Ubuntu MATE. Although I tried using the base Image docker-nvidia-egl-desktop, many drivers are not supported on Ubuntu MATE, which resulted in improper GPU acceleration within the container. If you have any further insights into this issue, I would greatly appreciate your help.
