scrolling?

When I am reading papers I usually read till the end of the page that is visible on the screen before scrolling. However, it usually takes me a second or two to continue reading from the point where I was before the scroll. There is this feature that highlights the line I am reading (with the right click), which I really like but this selection tends to change as I scroll.
Is there any way to prevent this? Some specific config that would make this easier?

What do you mean by the selection changes as you scroll? It should not be changing.
