After a deep analysis of the self-update command, I found out that the Updater is using an endpoint for packagist api v1 which is causing this error.

the endpoint shows even the deleted tags and branches which is kind of confusing for me. I don't know if i'm correct,

It is expected to be fixed either by overriding the default command codes with a custom command.
