g14control error

I saw this on start up. Honestly, I think I want to delete G14controlR3 for now as it seems a bit too buggy for my skill level (I updated the config file but the menu has a weird lag and is randomly resetting (example: I would say auto switch based on power input and that would be disabled in the menu and it also was not switching even though if I enabled it in the menu, it would say yes this is turned on now).

Problem is I can't uninstall as it says something is running in the background. What process do I have to kill in Task Manager to uninstall G14Control? Also is there anything I have to reinstall so that Armory Crate has full control of my system again?

Love the idea and implementation and will return when I have more time to mess around with it. Thanks so much for making and updating this.

It also shouldn't be turning on on start up as I have that set to false

I think that's an issue with atrofac. I've seen that happen a bunch. Sometimes atrofac fails to execute a plan and it throws that error. The best I could do is ignore the error in python. You can delete it by just exiting the app and then deleting the folder that has the files in it. Also, I fixed the autoswitching in the most recent release. Are you using 1.0.5 alpha?

For the starting with windows even after removing the setting, I'm not entirely sure. I'll have to look into it.

Thanks for getting back to me!

  • The initial problem with deleting it was that it was saying I could not move/delete the folder as it was in use but nothing was in my task bar and I couldn't find anything in task manager. Upon another restart, it didn't load up that time and I was able to move the folder to the trash

  • I'm pretty sure I was using 1.0.5 alpha as that's what I remember downloading from but I'm happy to check. Is there a way to check in the folder? I haven't emptied my trash yet.

Great app and I'll be checking back to try an update on a later day!
