about porting bao for verdin imx8mplus

Hello bao project team,

I want to implement the bao hypervisor for my final project on the Toradex Verdin IMX8MPlus platform with a dahlia carrier board for mixed-criticality systems in software-defined vehicles. Can you help me with the steps or sequence that must be taken to successfully porting bao and run it on the Verdin platform?

My next question is:. is there a specific repository that discusses the Toradex Verdin IMX8M Plus W Dahlia platform? In the bao-demos repository, I only see Apalis IMX8QM. Is the configuration the same as Apalis? Thank you.

You will find the typical Baremetal and Linux + FreeRTOS as well as a demo with Torizon OS + FreeRTOS

i have successfully created bao.bin, and I have built Linux+FreeRTOS and it is secure. What I am confused about is step 2 and step 3, which are setting up the board and running u-boot commands. To build on the board initially, do I need to build a Yocto project or something similar? Then, for the u-boot commands, are there any special configurations, such as scfw? Or perhaps you could explain the next steps?

We assume the board is in a factory state, and thus already boots u-boot. You just need to stop u-boot from automatically booting, and load the bao binary from the sdcard you prepared following the demo steps.

If needed you can flash a factory/release image from toradex website.

I can already run Bao, and previously I built Linux + FreeRTOS, but here only FreeRTOS seems to be running. Is there a special configuration so that Linux can run? Here, I encounter a problem when running FreeRTOS for a few minutes, and it suddenly jumps to another log.
