For now, we are keeping the project closed source, even though the license is GNU v3.
I would like to know the implications of making the project open source (pros and cons) and what license will be the best suited for the software we want to develop. What are the benefits of keeping or changing the License?
I have very limited experience with licensing the software and I was mostly working with licenses when looking for a library to use. That is why I would like to count on a more experienced person to provide expertise in that matter. @kubagruszka you sounded like a person who can provide a better understanding of that subject. @cezarykujawa you asked about that during the presentation. Please feel free to add to that subject your opinion or recommendation.
