Yoto gen 3 unable to turn automatic day brightness back on #175

TLDR: As the title says...

I have a basic automation:

  • when the kid goes to bed I turn off automatic day brightness and set the brightness to 1%
  • when the kid wakes up I turn automatic day brightness back on

Turning automatic day brightness off and then back on does not work. Doing it manually from the device settings I see the toggle switching back to the old state after about a second.

Is the device "online" when this occurs? Could I get debug logs?

What's your yaml getting passed to the automation?

Logs show the config command is empty going to the device.
