"fireball" meeting type

Not sure if the right place but figured would start here and see where it goes :) Was looking to add fireball as a type of meeting or be pointed to an equivalent that already exists. Meeting type is where chair picks a topic and a person to speak on it. Selected person answers then picks new topic and new person to share and that continues till time is up. Thanks!

I'm going to assume you're using TSML? If so, your best bet is to create a custom meeting type for your area and program. Check out the FAQ in the Wiki for TSML for directions on how to do this.

The spec area here is more for coordination with Meeting Guide and other apps that share data with Meeting Guide. I do not foresee a "Fireball" type getting much support for broad/international adoption. I admit, I've been going to AA all over the US and I've not heard of that type. Probably best to start local with your area.

Thanks! So I ran into this trying to setup the google sheet to run through the converter (fields description pointed to spec which led me here). Is there a way I can add it to my google sheet validation (however thats working couldn't figure that out at a glance ) so it stops complaining?

So Sheets is a bit different in that regard because it is designed to be a simple and quick way for an area to get a website up with meetings fed into Meeting Guide. I do not know of any plans to add custom types.

My suggestion would be to use the type closest to one in the accepted set, and then explain the difference in the Notes.

For example, if I understand right, these meetings are basically Discussion meetings? So you could use that as the type and then explain the format in more detail in the meeting notes.
