Dedicated server runs from headless client batch file, but will not launch via r2modman

As the title says. I can manually launch a server, but in R2ModMan, I cannot get it to accept the .exe file. I have Valheim Dedicated Server selected as the game, and it says "failed to set the valheim folder", when attempting to direct mod manager to the .exe for the server. It wants the "vanilla" (standard steam) install with valheim.exe), but that's not what I'm going to be running. Can someone please, please, explain this to me? I'm new to the manager and to valheim server configuration, and nobody thus far has offered a solution, nor have my days of google and reddit searches.
