Steps to reproduce
If you open search with Ctrl+K or click in search in the left area, popup will be opened. If you type fast (that is usual, as you did before) popup will be closed and focus and typing will be continued in active room. Very frustrating!
It can only work if you type slowly, letter by letter.... Everything worked properly before the latest update.
Outcome
Instead search to happen, you continue to type the remaining of the search string in the active room.
