The problem

Hi there,

I have the same issue like described in AVM FRITZ!Box Tools Internet Access Switch grayed out and none of the suggested tricks works for me:

  1. I have a mash in my home but none of the repeaters is integrated into HA just the main box (192.168.100.1).
  2. I do have a second fritzbox, though, but from another network (192.68.110.1) that I have connected via VPN directly with my fritz!box
  3. I have added the fritzbox using a different user than the standard one
  4. Issue is not solved with the old discovery method, I have it activated
The switches become randomly unavailable (grayed out) and available again. This happens for both, devices that are currently online (device_tracker=home) or offline, like shown here

Same issue on a mesh connected router. However, the switch doesn't show up on the primary router:

HA version: core-2025.3.0

Hey there @AaronDavidSchneider, @chemelli74, @mib1185, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (fritz) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!
