The problem

Hi, after installing the weheat integration I am trying to connect the integration to the server. I have logged in, however I get the following error:

  File "/usr/local/lib/python3.13/site-packages/weheat/exceptions.py", line 156, in from_response
    raise ApiException(http_resp=http_resp, body=body, data=data)
weheat.exceptions.ApiException: (429)
Reason: Too Many Requests
HTTP response headers: <CIMultiDictProxy('Server': 'nginx/1.18.0 (Ubuntu)', 'Date': 'Thu, 13 Mar 2025 13:36:52 GMT', 'Content-Length': '0', 'Connection': 'keep-alive')>

What I've tried:

  • Removing the integration and reinstalling it.
  • Disabling the integration four a couple of hours and re-enabling it.
  • It used to work fine before.

Note that the weheat app works fine.

Any suggestions on things I can try are very welcome!

Hey there @jesperraemaekers, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (weheat) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

Disabling the integration four a couple of hours and re-enabling it.

This should have fixed it. You are not running any other scripts apart from Home Assistant?
Do you happen to have more than one Weheat heat pump?

Thanks for getting back to me @jesperraemaekers. I am not running any other scripts, and do only have one heat pump.

What I did notice though is that after disabling the integration for an hour and enabling it again it seems to work for roughly 2 minutes before the error occurs again.
