User not admin, no copy past

Hello,
I'm doing some testing with users who are not admin on macOS but only Standard users ... and there copy/past with the host is not working anymore...

is it by Apple design? not tested ? any workaround I could try?

Same issue, as my main user is not an Admin account but a standard user.

Ok pushing it a bit ... My test user is a standard one, not admin.
So if I click on VirtualBuddyGuest --> no error message
So I temporally upgrade the rights using the very good Privilege tool, click on VirtualBuddyGuest, it is running, can access my share.
As soon as I lost admin rights, the share is not updated ...
ok so I upgraded the rights again to admin, click on VirtualBuddyGuest, but there nothing.
There is a process who is blocked, activity monitor, kill VirtualBuddyGuest process, restart it ... it is ok ... until I lost the rights again.

Is there anything can be done or admin rights are mandatory... maybe a way to run VirtualBuddyGuest as admin on the back ...
