QRcodes of locations and items are generated according to the same pattern regardless of the site. would it be possible to add unique identifier per inventory ?
This would be useful for objects that could be moved from one place to another.

instead of {"part": 6} for all parts:
storage location A = {"part": AAA6}
storage location B ={"part": BBB6}

same for places
location B {"stocklocation": 2} = {"stocklocation": BBB2}, etc...

We have actually already accounted for this. The newer "shorter" barcode can have a custom prefix added:

The default prefix is INV- but if you have different sites setup this could be INV1- / INV2- (or whatever else you wanted)
