Hello,
I monitor a weather station including a pyranometer sensor.
The data is directly in kW/m^2.
I built the stationXML but it does not pass the IRIS stationXML validator as the unit is not included in the validator.
I saw that the unit W/m^2 is included but it does not fit my data.
Do you think it might be possible to include the unit kW/m^2 in the validator?
Do you know who I should ask for this kind of request?
Regards,
Coralie

SI allows for kilo prefix, so kW/m**2 would be SI. Also, the current list of acceptable units already includes things like cm/cm and hit/(cm**2*hour), so this one seems reasonable to me.
