No way to resize panels in half-screen mode

There's an option sidePanelWidth which affects only panels in default mode, but there seems to be no option to resize side panels in half-screen mode. (Technically, it wouldn't be half-screen anymore). Am I missing something, is there really no way to resize it?

It would be great to be able to maximize e.g. the commit list vertically, while still maintaining side panel width ratio.

No, there's no way to do that currently. But if all you want to do is make the commit list "a little taller", you might try something like this:

gui:
  expandFocusedSidePanel: true
  expandedSidePanelWeight: 3

(I almost feel like this should be the default.)
