The header buttons at the top of a page are not accessible anywhere on mobile. For example:

Suggested UI to expose this

The two UI patterns I've seen for this are to:

  1. Make the header buttons accessible via a collapse button in the top-right. E.g. from Quarto: image
  2. Nest the header buttons inside the left sidebar drawer on mobile. E.g., from the PyData theme: image
