VS2022 just announced simpler .slnx solution file format

It is much easier to read and edit by hand for collaboration and non-windows users purposes.

Come to think of it, that solution files were kind of an odd one out being a custom file format, while the project files all used XML.

Definitely looks like quite a simplification. I like how configurations are kept separate from project references.

Seeing a how it was just announced, I'm not sure what support is like yet, or how it impacts the Windows developer experience. We probably want to check with @ldicker83 if this works out of the box with his setup. Assuming it does, and assuming it also works on CI, this sounds like a good update.
