Why is this external command not working ?

Hi,

I tried to create my own external command, as the active connection check doesnt work for some of my servers (emby, seafile...) 👍

[check.ExternalCommand]

command = netstat -ntaup | egrep -i 'ESTABLISHED' | egrep -i '(8096|8000|10000|2317)'|exit 0

Do you know what is wrong ?

The documentation says:
Executes an arbitrary command. In case this command returns 0, the system is assumed to be active.
Because of the exit 0 instruction at the end of your comand, it will always yield 0.
You can verify this using the command echo $? in the shell, which displays the exit code for the last command you ran on the command line.
Just delete |exit 0:
