@emericv Thanks for the feedback. In practice, we found that it's too easy to end a call inadvertently, which can be a very disruptive action, hence the button as designed. Perhaps your proposal could become a user preference in the future, but it's not something I'd default to.
I would also like the one click leave or end call option or user preference. I have stayed on calls thinking I had left and they could still here my mic.
For now, a user must perform three actions to end a call and two to leave a call.
Idea of UX improvement like this:

Add an ability to leave or end a call with one click without confirmation.
