N42 Blockchain Real-World Asset (RWA) Interface Technical Documentation

1. Overview

N42 Blockchain provides a secure, decentralized, and interoperable Real-World Asset (RWA) interface, enabling the tokenization, management, trading, and settlement of physical and traditional financial assets on-chain. By leveraging smart contracts, decentralized identity (DID), asset-backed token standards, and zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs), N42 ensures transparent ownership, regulatory compliance, and seamless asset liquidity across global markets.

This document outlines the technical architecture, API specifications, security mechanisms, and best practices for integrating RWAs into the N42 ecosystem, making it suitable for institutional investors, asset managers, financial services, and Web3 developers.

2. Core Architecture

N42’s RWA infrastructure is designed with the following components:

2.1 Asset Tokenization Layer

  • Supports NFT-based unique assets (NRC-721) and fractionalized fungible assets (NRC-1155, NRC-20).
  • On-chain verification of real-world assets using decentralized proof-of-ownership and custodial attestations.
  • Regulatory-compliant tokenization via whitelisted smart contracts and KYC-enforced wallets.

2.2 Decentralized Asset Registry

  • Immutable asset metadata storage on IPFS/Arweave.
  • Zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) verification to confirm asset integrity while maintaining privacy.
  • Multi-party notarization and cross-chain asset attestation.

2.3 Compliance and Governance

  • Integration with Decentralized Identity (DID) and soulbound tokens (SBTs) for investor accreditation.
  • Automated regulatory compliance checks using on-chain verifiable credentials.
  • Governance through Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) for rule enforcement and dispute resolution.

2.4 Liquidity & Secondary Market Trading

  • On-chain peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplaces and automated market makers (AMMs) for RWA trading.
  • Bridging of traditional finance (TradFi) assets with DeFi lending protocols (e.g., collateralized RWA-backed lending).
  • Automated dividend distribution and yield farming via smart contracts.

3. RWA API Design

N42 provides a set of REST and WebSocket APIs to facilitate the tokenization, ownership transfer, compliance verification, and trading of real-world assets.

5. Security Mechanisms

5.1 Asset Integrity & Ownership Proof

  • IPFS/Arweave Storage: Immutable records of asset metadata.
  • Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs): Confidential asset verification without revealing sensitive details.
  • On-Chain Custodianship: Regulatory-approved custodians ensure compliance.

5.2 Compliance Enforcement

  • DID & Soulbound Tokens (SBTs): Verifiable investor accreditation.
  • On-Chain Whitelisted Smart Contracts: Enforce jurisdictional KYC/AML rules.
  • Automated Governance Dispute Resolution: DAO-based governance for rule enforcement.
