on_ipc_ready function

I have copied the entire example file https://github.com/nextcord/nextcord-ext-ipc/blob/master/examples/basic-ipc/bot.py.
For some reason, the on_ipc_ready function wont trigger. 
`(venv) pi@Pi: /var/www/html $ sudo python main.py
Bot is ready`
"Ipc is ready." wont show no matter what I try.
