Darren Burns

darrenburns

I love building developer tools with a focus on fun, keyboard-centric, and efficient workflows.

However, this work is something I have to find time and motivation to fit around the other important things in my life, and that can be a bit limited sometimes!

Your sponsorship will give me a little boost and help motivate me towards building better developer tools for us all to enjoy ❤️

If you've enjoyed any of my projects, a small donation would also be much appreciated 😊

2 sponsors have funded darrenburns’s work.

@darrenburns

This would be a huge motivational boost for me, and allow me to justify spending a larger amount of time developing open-source tools such a Posting!

Priority bugs, issues, and roadmap prioritisation

I will, to the best of my ability, prioritise bug fixes and issues affecting you. This includes my older projects and less well maintained projects for which I don't have as much motivation to work on (dunk, elia, pytest-clarity, rich-pixels) 😄

(This does not mean I will work exclusively on your issues, but issues that otherwise may go untouched for a while will be seen to as soon as I'm able to).

I'll also double-weight your opinions on which items of the roadmap should be prioritised.

Logo In README

While you continue to sponsor, your company logo and link to your site will be placed at the bottom of the Posting README file, in a section titled "Sponsors". The logo will appear at the top of this section. The Posting repo currently gets around 6.4k views and 2.2k unique visitors per 2 weeks who likely have a strong interest in developer tooling (as of 10 March 2025). These figures are taken from GitHub's Insights tab. Around the time of major releases, this number may increase dramatically.
