Vibe no longer opens after trying to update.

Tried to update Vibe earlier. Nothing showed really. After "updating", tried to open the app, and it no longer opens. Tried reinstalling and restarting the laptop, still Vibe does not open.

Any help would be appreciated, have been using Vibe to transcribe my partner's lectures and has been a huge help to her and her classmates, would really appreciate any help regarding the matter.
