Dear Warp team,

I love this piece of software. Due to enterprise policies, I cannot run software outside a given Windows directory. It would be awesome if you could provide a method to customize the installation directory or even offer a portable version of the WARP terminal.

Hi @Xan-Zero With Warp's installer you can currently set the location of where you want to install it. Simply set the new location once you get past the first option of the installer (install for current or all users). Please see the demo/example below.

There are no immediate plans for a portable version as far as I'm aware, but I see how that could help with installing on certain environments so thanks for this feature request!

Hi @Xan-Zero,

my company also restricts the execution of software to a directory. Because I already use scoop (manually installed into the directory) I could sucessfully install it into the scoop directory. With the normal installer an error occurred which stated that some scripts could not be executed in a temp directory.

Might be try worth, if you are able to install scoop without other policies blocking it.
