When you see Generic Display, it means the computer could not read the display's EDID. This is likely a KVM issue (as it should handle EDID read requests - as a basic functionality properly and forward or store&forward the EDID to the computer). |

I recently purchased a brand-new Samsung Neo G7 43" monitor (Odyssey G70NC), and I’ve noticed an issue where BetterDisplay sometimes recognizes it correctly, but other times it gets identified as a "Generic Display," which results in a poor resolution. I'm looking for advice on what might be causing this and how to fix it.
My Setup:

Sometimes, BetterDisplay correctly identifies the Odyssey G70NC, but other times, it shows up as a "Generic Display." This inconsistency leads to incorrect resolutions and degraded display quality. I haven’t been able to pinpoint why this happens or how to resolve it.
Any advice or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!
I just made a quick test and while in the right resolution and monitor type switched over to the other laptop and when came back the issue started:
