I did the initial work here and am handing it off to Gabriel to support:

MemoryDB (aws persistent redis)
Multi-node listeners (edit: not pursuing this initially and instead relying on vaa re-fetching)
Prometheus alerting
Logging (structured json logging, some service to collect and index them)
