Unable to install with react's latest version react ^17.0.2

When I am trying to install using following command:
npm i react-use-form-state

It gives following error:

From NPM v8, you can fix this by overriding in package.json:

  "react-use-form-state": {
    "react": "*",
    "react-dom": "*"
  }
},
