BIOS Flash worked, Boot worked, RebarState worked, but Rebar isn't activated?

Info: RTX 3070 Gaming X Trio , Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro , Ryzen 5 2600

So after spending a few hours figuring out how to make this work - thanks Gigabyte for making me go on a 2 hour side quest to figure out how to flash the modded bios manually and why it wasn't working (turns out you can't have files over 8 characters in FreeDOS, oops)...

...anyways, it flashed without issue; I had rolled back my BIOS to f50 (AGESA 1.0.0) prior to flashing, and flashed to a modded f66d BIOS - the BIOS displays itself as f66d now so I assume it worked.

Booted into windows no problem, kept following the tutorial, used RebarState with 13 as the setting, which also succeeded and told me to reboot.

After rebooting, I checked RebarState again and it tells me "Current RebarState 13 / 8192 MB"; okay, cool, it worked.

...except it didn't. NVidia System Info tells me it's disabled -- I checked into GPU-Z, and it also tells me it's disabled.
In GPU-Z, it tells me every requirement is met - except for "Resizable BAR enabled in BIOS" which is exactly why I was following this tutorial in the first place.

So, how come everything worked but my system still doesn't recognize the BIOS has having Resizable BAR enabled?

Also, it is possible I choose the wrong DEX driver file, but in that case, would I have reached this state?
I do not see Resizable Bar in BIOS below 4G decode!

There is no VBIOS for my GPU, is that the case?

As the other guy mentioned, there is no VBIOS update, it should be compatible out of the box from what I've researched - it's a rebar enabled card and the VBIOS is compatible as it is currently - it's only my motherboard which doesn't natively support it.

No matter, though, it wasn't worth the trouble -- I also started getting random crashes in some games, I'm not sure if this was the root cause, but when I rolled back my BIOS to an official version, they stopped crashing (and they were crashing regularly too, like every 5-10 minutes, now they play flawlessly, so there's a good chance it was that).

@simao135890 thanks .. i too felt for a 10-15 fps extra, it is not worth it.

I also raised a ticket with GB for VBIOS update, it has been 5 days, it is still being processed. I am not hopeful to get a response at all and in fact they did, it would be probably a generic response.

You can check if the VBIOS supports rebar using HWInfo, it lists the supported sizes should show 8GB there

if rebar is giving you crashes your overclock is unstable.

Yeah like I said, my GPU does support Rebar -- HWInfo confirms it as well.

I also messed with my overclocks a lot before I resorted to reverting my BIOS -- it was not the overclocks as the games crashed no matter what.

Rebar never got turned on, so it wasn't Rebar giving me crashes; as mentioned before, despite following every step successfully, ultimately Rebar refused to get enabled; so I suspect the crashing was a result of the BIOS hack itself (alternatively, it could have just been an issue with that specific BIOS version and that specific Nvidia driver version, as I also rolled back my BIOS to a different version altogether).
