Laptop brightness slider broken below 100% #972

After installing, the laptop's brightness drops to nearly 20% when the brightness slider in the quick settings is moved below 100% including 99%. The same thing happens when using the twinkle tray slider, moving the slider to 99%, brightness drops to nearly 20%
