Context

Found error at https://github.com/cenobites/flask-jsonrpc/blob/04826caf87d4c74f23128fef32a22319d717ecd1/src/flask_jsonrpc/site.py#L139

Problem

When an exception occurs in the backend JSONRPC server I get (and also the GitHub actions)

jsonrpc-1 | File "/project/src/flask_jsonrpc/views.py", line 51, in post
jsonrpc-1 | File "/project/src/flask_jsonrpc/site.py", line 107, in dispatch_request
jsonrpc-1 | File "/project/src/flask_jsonrpc/site.py", line 132, in handle_dispatch_except
jsonrpc-1 | File "/project/src/flask_jsonrpc/helpers.py", line 131, in get
jsonrpc-1 | TypeError: dict object expected; got int

Research

  • Doesn't happen on MacOS ARM
  • Doesn't happen if I load the module from my local machine - /home/linuxbrew/.linuxbrew/Cellar/python@3.11/3.11.7/lib/python3.11/site-packages/flask_jsonrpc:/usr/local/lib/python3.12/site-packages/flask_jsonrpc
