The Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) also known as GUIDs (Globally Unique IDentifiers) is a 128-bit long identifier and is intended to guarantee uniqueness across space and time.
It's currently defined by RFC 9562 which obsoleted RFC 4122 earlier this year.
Due to its wide adoption in computer systems, a simple module to manipulate and generate UUIDs would be a valuable addition to Zephyr.
