Hey there! 👋

I'm currently a Software Engineer on the Identity team at PayPal, where I work on high-traffic backend services that serve as the system of record (SoR) for user data.

I'm passionate about AI and Full-Stack Development, and always eager to explore how technology can create meaningful impact.

🎓 A Bit About Me

I graduated with honors from the University of California, Davis 🐮 in Spring 2024, earning a degree in Computer Science and Engineering.

Along the way, I was honored with:

  • 🏅 The Outstanding Senior Award — given to one graduating senior per major in the UCD College of Engineering, recognizing impact through leadership of student organizations.
  • 📘 The Outstanding Performance Award from the UC Davis CS Department, for academic excellence.

💼 Experience

Industry

  • PayPal (Summer 2022 & 2023): Full-Stack Software Engineering Intern on the User & Identity Platforms team. Worked with Spring, Node.js, React, MySQL, and Oracle SQL.
  • ASUCD Pantry (Summer 2021): Volunteer Full-Stack Developer for UC Davis' student-run food bank, building tools to support food accessibility.

Research

  • DECAL Lab @ UC Davis: Undergraduate Research Assistant focused on machine learning for code completion and static analysis.
  • ML Education Research with Prof. Rafatriad: Explored effective teaching strategies for machine learning concepts, with a special focus on gamification.

Student Organizations

  • 🧠 President, Google Developer Group on Campus @ UC Davis — Led an interdisciplinary team of 30+ students to ignite a passion for Computer Science through workshops, projects, and mentorship programs. Formerly known as the Google Developer Student Club at UC Davis.
  • 👨‍🏫 President, Computer Science Tutoring Club — Led a team of 50+ tutors and 10+ board members to offer free peer-led tutoring to all Computer Science students at UC Davis in partnership with the UC Davis Computer Science Department. Managed the ECS197T class at UC Davis to offer academic credit to tutors recognizing their efforts.
  • 🚀 President & CEO, SacHacks — Led an interdisciplinary team of 20+ students to organize the annual SacHacks hackthon which focuses on the whole entrepreneurial journey beyond just software engineering.
