Objectives:

• Data Gathering:
  • Use the Hystorical Weather API (https://open-meteo.com/en/docs/historical-weather-api) to extract the data you need:
    • time range: Jan 1940 - now
    • Variables: "Temperature (2m)", "Precipitation (rain + snow)"
    • Locations: Lugano, Calabria, Athens, Copenhagen, Vilnius
• Data Visualisation:
  • Visualise temperatures over the years at different resolutions
    • Trends per location
    • Are there consistencies in the trends
• Modeling:
  • linear regression model temp vs year
  • predict temperatures till 2070
  • compare prediction to available model at https://open-meteo.com/en/docs/climate-api
