This is very barebones, but in theory ready to be merged. All it currently does is re-enable the register/login views and password reset emails, shuffle around some database column names for ease of understanding, and most importantly, implement a simple api authentication solution. (maybe we should look into using Laravel Sanctum instead?)
Let me know if anything should be done differently or changed.
