I’m an Embedded Systems Consultant who loves turning napkin sketches into products you can mass manufacture 🏭. Whether it’s hardware or firmware, I work across the entire stack to bring embedded ideas to life. I also have extensive hands-on experience with Lithium batteries and Battery Management Systems (BMS). I’ve worn a lot of hats — individual contributor, team builder and lead engineer.
On the hardware side 📟🛠️, I’ve designed systems that handle everything from sensing a few millivolts, average power consumption of a few µA or coolly switching hundreds of watts, balancing trade-offs in power, cost, and performance. With multiple experiences of taking designs into mass-manufacturing, I've a keen eye for choosing and sourcing components and optimizing the design for manufacturability also.
On the firmware side, I craft low-power, memory-optimized, modular and scalable architectures in both bare-metal and RTOS environments. I’ve built IoT devices that talk to the cloud and mobile apps over BLE, cellular, and WiFi over multiple protocols. Recently, I've explored Test Driven Development 🔄 for embedded firmware, giving fewer opportunities for them to misbehave .
A special shout out to Lithium batteries and BMS 🔋⚡ - having worked with batteries upto hundreds of kWh, I have good understanding of what keeps batteries healthy and design electronic systems that can store and extract maximum cumulative energy from them.
As a team builder 👥👥, I've extensive experience with hiring engineers at different skill levels and nurturing a respectful, collaborative and prodcuctive culture for the team.
I’m a big believer in open source, and I deeply care about environmental sustainability 🌍. If your project makes the world smarter and greener, we’re probably going to get along just fine.
Let’s build something cool (and power-efficient) together. 🦾
