This is the first production-ready release of our substitution table! 😁🎉❤
After quite a few weeks of planning and developing, perfectly timed for school start, we finally implemented every initially intended feature! Here is a list of what we offer:
- Minimalistic overview of all substitutions
- Optimization for mobile, tablet and desktop viewing
- Messages of the day
- Filtering by classes (student's view)
- Filtering by teachers (teacher's view)
- Auto scrolling (for non-interactive scenarios like monitors in school hallways)
- Auto refreshing data (also for non-interactive scenarios and in the rare case of on-the-fly changes)
- Dark mode (automatically initialized based on browser / system settings)
- User-choosable accent colour
It is necessary now, for us to succeed with completely establishing this platform, to spread the word all around our school. We are happy that we already have our Computer Science teachers on our side. To finish off, we would be absolutely thrilled to see our substitution table listed on the school's portal and to run on the monitors in the hallways.
