LEA Attendance Reporting

Data cleaning and calculation of staff attendance on a quarterly, monthly, and weekly cadence via utilizing SQL for tracking, reporting, and analysis.

Variables

Attendance metrics for 11 MONTH and 12 MONTH staff is to be calculated differently.

• ALL STAFF: The following absence types will be counted towards excused absences

  • Long-term absences, including unpaid time off
  • Religious holidays (exemptions)
  • Personal days

• 12 MONTH STAFF:

  • Vacation days are counted towards excused absences.

• 11 MONTH STAFF:

  • Vacation days are counted towards unexcused absences.
