🔧 Build Example |

g++ -std=c++20 -O2 -pthread demo.cpp -o demo

Windows (MSVC) cl /std:c++20 /O2 demo.cpp `
C++20 or report your weird bugs yourself

EN – It’s 2025 — using C++17 as default? Come on, upgrade to C++20! If you insist on C++17 and hit odd bugs, feel free to file an issue — but you’ll have to debug it yourself.

🧪 Tests & Manual Tracking |

EN – The snippet toggles tracking on/off, runs five stress tests, prints a manual leak report, then disables tracking and checks again.

/*
 * Detailed Explanation of Two Key Lines for C++ I/O Optimization
 * 1. Disable C/C++ Stream Synchronization
 *    std::ios::sync_with_stdio(false);
 *
 *    • Benefits:
 *      - Eliminates mutex-like synchronization between C++ streams (std::cin/std::cout)
 * and C stdio (printf/scanf), reducing OS-level function call overhead.
 * - Can yield up to 2× speedup in pure C++ I/O scenarios, especially when reading
 * or writing large volumes of data.
 *
 *    • Drawbacks:
 * - After disabling, mixing printf/scanf with std::cout/std::cin leads to unpredictable
 * ordering or missing output, complicating debugging.
 * - On some platforms or compilers, default I/O may already be optimized, so gains
 * may be negligible in light I/O workloads.
 *
 * 2. Untie std::cin from std::cout
 *    std::cin.tie(nullptr);
 *
 *    • Benefits:
 * - Prevents std::cin from flushing std::cout before every input operation,
 * saving a few microseconds per flush in read‑heavy loops.
 * - In tight loops of alternating read/write, cumulative savings can reach
 * tens or hundreds of microseconds.
 *
 *    • Drawbacks:
 * - Prompts or previous outputs may remain buffered and not appear before input,
 * requiring explicit std::cout.flush() or use of std::endl at key points.
 * - If your logic relies on automatic flushing for user prompts, you must now
 * manage flushes manually to maintain correct UX.
 *
 * Tips for Safe Use:
 * - If mixing C and C++ I/O, do not disable sync, or restrict these optimizations
 *   to pure C++ sections.
 * - In multithreaded contexts, protect shared streams with an external mutex;
 * these calls do not alter the standard’s per‑operation thread safety guarantees.
 *
 *
 * C++ I/O 优化两行关键代码详解
 * 1. 禁用 C 与 C++ 流的同步
 *    std::ios::sync_with_stdio(false);
 *
 *    • 好处:
 *      - 消除 C++ 流(std::cin/std::cout)与 C stdio(printf/scanf)之间的“互斥”同步,
 *        减少系统调用开销。
 *      - 在纯 C++ I/O 场景下,可获得最高约 2 倍的性能提升,尤其是处理大文件或海量数据时。
 *
 *    • 坏处:
 *      - 解除同步后,若混用 printf/scanf 和 std::cout/std::cin,输出顺序可能错乱或丢失,
 *        调试难度增加。
 *      - 某些平台/编译器默认已优化 I/O,轻量级 I/O 场景下提升有限。
 *
 * 2. 解除 std::cin 与 std::cout 的绑定
 *    std::cin.tie(nullptr);
 *
 *    • 好处:
 *      - 防止 std::cin 在每次输入前自动刷新 std::cout,避免每次 flush 带来的几微秒开销。
 *      - 在交替读写的循环中,可累计节省几十到几百微秒。
 *
 *    • 坏处:
 *      - 提示信息或前一轮输出可能停留在缓冲区中,需手动调用 std::cout.flush() 或使用 std::endl。
 *      - 如果依赖自动刷新来确保提示先行显示,需自行管理刷新时机,否则影响用户体验。
 *
 * 安全使用建议:
 * - 混合使用 C/C++ I/O 时,应避免禁用同步,或仅在纯 C++ 区块内应用上述优化。
 * - 多线程环境下,共享流对象仍需使用外部互斥锁保护;这些调用不改变 C++ 标准
 *   对单次流操作的线程安全保证。

Component Key Responsibilities
PoolAllocator Unified entry point; routes by size to Small/Medium/Large/Huge; auto‑aligns; registers for tracking in debug mode.
SmallMemoryManager 2‑level design: TLS buckets + local list → flush merges into global buckets via 128‑bit CAS; falls back to local mutex on non‑x86_64.
MediumMemoryManager Buddy Allocator + lock‑free free lists + asynchronous merge scheduler (circular merge queue).
LargeMemoryManager Direct OS allocation/return of large blocks to avoid fragmentation.
HugeMemoryManager Same as Large, but records (ptr, size) in a separate list for batch freeing or huge‑page optimization.
MemoryTracker + SafeMemoryLeakReporter Records allocations/frees at runtime; outputs leak reports automatically or on demand at exit.
OS Memory Layer Wraps VirtualAlloc, mmap, aligned new, etc., abstracting cross‑platform details.

Why “Special”? — Project Highlights

  1. Extreme concurrency robustness Uses in_tls sentinel + std::exchange to completely eliminate flush‑time duplicate frees.
  2. Minimal lock granularity Hot paths are fully lock‑free CAS; locks are used only briefly when 128‑bit CAS is unavailable or ordered writes are needed.
  3. 128‑bit CAS + versioning Pointer + tag committed atomically, perfectly avoiding ABA.
  4. Alignment capabilities Supports any 2 B to 64 KiB 2ⁿ alignment; flush and block allocations preserve alignment intact.
  5. Built‑in high‑intensity fuzzing Over one million multi‑threaded, random size/alignment tests passed with zero crashes and zero leaks.
  6. Pluggable tracing Zero overhead in Release; one‑click tracing and automatic reporting in Debug.
  7. Cross‑platform x86‑64 / ARM64; adaptive Windows NtAllocateVirtualMemory and POSIX mmap support.

Four-Level Memory Managers at a Glance

Level Size Range Manager Main Strategy
Small ≤ 1 MiB SmallMemoryManager 64‑size buckets + TLS cache → global stack via 128‑bit CAS; fully lock‑free hot path.
Medium 1 MiB – 512 MiB MediumMemoryManager 10‑level buddy system; free lists with (pointer, tag) atomic heads; background merging.
Large 512 MiB – 1 GiB LargeMemoryManager Direct OS allocation of whole blocks; uses tracking_mutex for active list and debugging.
Huge ≥ 1 GiB HugeMemoryManager Same as Large, but maintains a separate (ptr, size) list for batch frees and huge‑page ops.

Why Split into Four Domains?

  1. Hot/Cold Separation Small blocks are extremely frequent → require maximum concurrency; Medium/Large/Huge blocks are rarer → occasional locking is acceptable but fragmentation and syscalls must be minimized.

  2. Algorithm Matches Size Characteristics TLS bucket + CAS is simplest for ≤ 1 MiB blocks; the buddy system excels at splitting/merging 2ⁿ‑aligned medium blocks; huge blocks go straight to the OS to avoid overwhelming internal metadata.

  3. Clear Granularity for Debugging & Tracing Each level maintains its own magic values and active lists, so leak reports pinpoint the exact level, making troubleshooting more efficient.

Where Is the Buddy System Used?

MediumMemoryManager (1 MiB – 512 MiB) is a classic Buddy Allocator split into three parts:

Functional Block Code Location Description
1. Map to 2ⁿ order Size ↔ order mapping routines Converts byte counts to/from the order at 1 MiB × 2ⁿ and back.
2. Split & merge (buddy) split_to_order & try_merge_buddy Splits large blocks to the target order; on free, XOR with the adjacent buddy to merge until no further merges or reaching max order.
3. Free lists + bitmap free_lists[order] & free_list_level_mask Lock‑free linked lists per order; bitmap quickly identifies the next non‑empty order.

Implementation Challenges & the ‘Crazy Pitfalls’ You’ve Encountered

Pain Point Symptom Resolution
Double free during flush (Small) ~0.1% chance of /GS cookie corruption Use std::exchange to clear the TLS slot first + an in_tls sentinel bit to eliminate the race.
ABA issue (Small / Medium) Linked lists occasionally broke due to ABA Upgrade head pointer to 128‑bit (pointer, tag) and increment tag on each CAS.
Buddy system merge livelock (Medium) Merge worker spun excessively Introduce a ring queue + atomic merge_worker_active flag for single‑threaded background merging.
Difficult to track large‑block leaks Hard to locate who forgot to free Large/Huge use a single tracking table (tracking_mutex + active_blocks); dumps on exit for analysis.

“We hand off fragments under 1 MiB to the lock‑free TLS bucket for smooth high‑frequency operations; 1 MiB–512 MiB uses the buddy system for splitting/merging; anything larger is mapped whole due to infrequency. Each manager does its job, resulting in zero crashes and zero leaks under high‑concurrency fuzz testing.”

🛡️ Why “pointer pool” instead of “object pool”?

EN – The pool doesn’t “own” your object layout; it only manages raw blocks (pointers). Thus you keep full control of object lifetime and avoid hard‑coupling algorithms to a specific memory class. This memory pool only manages pointers, not the objects themselves. Wrapping data blocks entirely into classes is unwise, as it introduces extra algorithm coupling and bloat.

  • Latency on highly contended multi‑thread scenarios (numbers forthcoming)

Implementation Challenges & the 'Crazy Pitfalls' You've Encountered

Pointer‑Arithmetic Hell

    • 现象 / Symptom:头尾指针偏移算错,经常越界访问。

    • 根本原因 / Root Cause:所有偏移都是手动计算;Header 结构一改,所有逻辑都要跟着改,极易出错。

    • 解决方案 / Solution:让头结构自描述定位信息:

      struct Header {
        void* raw;            // 原始指针
        size_t size;          // 总大小
        void* data() {
          return (char*)this + sizeof(*this);
        }
      };
    • 效果 / Effect:消除手动偏移,彻底杜绝越界。

Unsynchronized API Strategy Change

    • 现象 / Symptomorder_from_size 内部去掉头部处理,但调用方仍在外部加,导致双重头。

    • 根本原因 / Root Cause:文档、命名不变,且无编译期校验,新旧代码混用难察觉。

    • 解决方案 / Solution(三重保障):

      1. 重命名:order_from_sizeorder_from_user_size

      2. 静态断言:

        static_assert(sizeof(MediumMemoryHeader) == 64,
                      "Header must be 64 bytes");
      3. 注释明确:输入大小不含内部头部。

    • 效果 / Effect:编译期即报错,新成员一看即懂。

  3. TLS Flush 双重回收 & /GS cookie corruption / Double‑Free Race

    • 现象 / Symptom:偶发 /GS cookie corruption 崩溃,栈随机溢出。

    • 根本原因 / Root Cause:TLS 缓存清空时其他线程同时 deallocate,同一节点又被塞回 TLS,链表悬空。

    • 解决方案 / Solution(状态标记法):

      1. auto old = std::exchange(slot, nullptr); 原子清空 TLS;
      2. 头中加 bool in_tls 哨兵;
      3. 释放时先检查:if (header->in_tls) return;
    • 效果 / Effect:竞态彻底消除,线上零复发。

  4. ABA 幽灵 / ABA Problem

    • 现象 / Symptom:CAS 操作莫名通过,链表节点「消失」。

    • 根本原因 / Root Cause:指针被释放后重用,CAS 仅比较地址,误判未被修改。

    • 解决方案 / Solution(Tagged Pointer):

      struct TaggedPtr {
        void* ptr;
        uint64_t tag;
      };
      // 每次更新 ptr 时 tag++,并用 128 位 CAS 同步比较 ptr 和 tag
    • 效果 / Effect:彻底杜绝 ABA,系统稳定运行超过一年。

Buddy System Live‑Lock

    • 现象 / Symptommerge_worker 线程 CPU 100% 占用,系统响应挂起。

    • 根本原因 / Root Cause:多线程同时发起合并,CAS 自旋不止。

    • 解决方案 / Solution(异步队列化):

      1. 环形缓冲区存合并请求;
      2. 原子标记 merge_worker_active
      3. 背景单线程按序处理。
    • 效果 / Effect:CPU 占用降至 <1%,合并延迟 <2ms。

Hard‑to‑Find Large‑Allocation Leaks

    • 现象 / Symptom:10 GB 内存不知被哪段代码吃掉。

    • 根本原因 / Root Cause:大块分配无任何溯源信息,难以定位调用点。

    • 解决方案 / Solution(增强追踪):

      std::vector<std::tuple<void*, size_t, std::string, int>> large_allocs;
      // 记录 (地址, 大小, 文件, 行号)
    • 效果 / Effect:程序退出时自动 dump 未释放块及其来源,排查效率提升 10×。

Alignment Boundary Bug

    • 现象 / Symptom:512 字节对齐请求时越界。

    • 根本原因 / Root Cause:对齐逻辑未考虑超大对齐(>4KB)的填充。

    • 解决方案 / Solution

      if (alignment > 4096) {
        return aligned_alloc_special(alignment, size);
      }
      // 常规路径
    • 效果 / Effect:支持最高 64KB 对齐,已在航天级项目中通过验证。

Magic Value Overwrite

    • 现象 / Symptominvalid magic during deallocation 错误。

  10. 线程安全 vs 性能 / Thread‑Safety vs Performance Trade‑Off

Random Musings / Talking Something

Core Strategies of the Memory Allocator

Thread‑Local → Global Two‑Tier Architecture

  • TLS bucket: each thread holds 128 (= BUCKET_COUNT) free-list chains, using pure pointer operations with zero locks.

  • Flush: when the count reaches a threshold (256) or on cross-thread free, the entire TLS chain is reattached to the global bucket;

    • On platforms supporting CMPXCHG16B / CASP: a single 128‑bit CAS writes the pointer+tag atomically, eliminating ABA via version tagging. (blog.memzero.de, scss.tcd.ie)
    • On unsupported platforms: falls back to a local mutex, locking only the three pointer fields.

Atomic vs Mutex Boundaries

Path Synchronization Method Rationale
Hot‑path allocate / deallocate compare_exchange_weak with spin retries Allows spurious failures, lighter instruction weight, immediate retry in loop. (Stack Overflow, Cppreference)
One‑time state bit is_free compare_exchange_strong One‑shot test; failure denotes double‑free, no spinning needed. (Microsoft for Developers)
128‑bit list concatenation compare_exchange_weak + spin + version tag High success rate; tag++ solves ABA. (blog.memzero.de, Hacker News)
Flush fallback path local mutex Rarely used; lock contention is negligible.

Protection & Diagnostics

  • in_tls sentinel: set to 1 before entering TLS chain; any subsequent free is rejected, fully preventing duplicate frees.
  • Magic values + is_free: abort immediately on invalid pointer or repeat free. (Stack Overflow)
  • SafeMemoryLeakReporter: automatically dumps unreleased blocks on exit.

The Most 'Mind‑Blowing' Pitfalls in Implementation

Crazy Moment Symptom Resolution
/GS cookie corruption Windows throws __GSHandlerCheck_… First set pointer to nullptr + use in_tls sentinel; resets cookie scope. (ForrestOrr, TimDbg)
Infinite CAS spinning CPU saturation, thread hang Use backoff or yield to break spin loops.
ABA ghost Pointer returns to old value, still swaps, list breaks Must use version tag to distinguish cycles. (scss.tcd.ie)
Magic value overwrite Invalid magic during deallocation Validate magic before free.
Double free Silent crash Detect via is_free flag.
Thread‑safety vs performance Locking all paths halves throughput Use CAS‑based lock‑free paths; only lock where necessary.

“Our allocator follows the TLS‑bucket hot path; flush uses a single 128‑bit CAS to reattach lists atomically, preventing the GS stack cookie corruption seen with duplicate frees, ultimately solved through std::exchange and the in_tls sentinel.”

🔧 CAS (Compare‑And‑Swap) Knowledge Summary — In the Context of This Memory Pool + Custom Allocator Project

1. Essence of CAS

Keyword Description
Atomicity The CPU completes “compare → conditional write” within one instruction cycle, with no thread interleaving.
Lock‑free concurrency Multithreading without locks, spinning + CAS until success.
ABA problem If a value goes A→B→A, a second thread’s compare still succeeds but data has changed; solved via tagging/versioning.

2. Practical Usage in the Project

Scenario Why CAS Details
Small block global bucket head
bucket.head
High-concurrency contention on bucket head; lock-free reduces context switches. Uses 128‑bit CAS (pointer + tag) for atomic pointer+version update, completely avoiding ABA.
Bidirectional merge queue activation Minimal contention, but maintain pure atomic code path. Uses compare_exchange_weak; on failure, yields CPU (std::this_thread::yield()).
TLS ↔ Global flush Only needs to splice pointer chains. Employs CAS to merge; fallback to local mutex on unsupported hardware.
Node double‑free detection “First CAS success = mark free; subsequent CAS failure = duplicate free.” Uses compare_exchange_strong(expected=false → true); failure returns immediately.

3. Key Implementation Details

  1. ABA version tag

    struct PointerTag {
        SmallMemoryHeader* pointer;
        std::uint16_t      tag;
    };
    // Increment tag on each successful exchange
  2. 128‑bit CAS path

    • x86‑64: CMPXCHG16B
    • ARM64: CASP
     while (!bucket.head.compare_exchange_weak(
                snapshot,
                {local_head, snapshot.tag + 1},
                std::memory_order_release,
                std::memory_order_relaxed));
  3. Fallback mutex

    • If compiler/hardware doesn’t support 16‑byte CAS → fallback to std::lock_guard<std::mutex> to ensure portability.
  4. Spinning strategy

    • compare_exchange_weak + short spin: after 3‑5 failures, call yield() to prevent starvation.
    • Hot paths (allocate/deallocate) have high success rates, so spin overhead is negligible.

How to Distinguish compare_exchange_strong vs compare_exchange_weak in the Project

Use Case Choice Reasoning
One‑time state bits
(e.g., SmallMemoryHeader::is_free double‑free detection)
Use strong for one‑shot tests; failure indicates duplicate free, no spin needed.
Ring buffer / list‑head CAS
(e.g., splicing TLS chains, updating bitmask)
Use weak; spurious failures harmless, immediate retry, fewer instructions.
Multiple CAS in complex loops
(e.g., buddy‑merge node removal, mask updates)
Use weak with spin; reduces load instructions, improves throughput.

Key Takeaways

  1. Write once and donestrong

    • For state bits, reference counts, sentinel flags: if CAS fails, no further attempts needed.
  2. Retry‑on‑failure loopsweak

    • For lock‑free list/stack operations: spurious failures are harmless and cheaper.
  3. 128‑bit pointer+tag → always use weak in an outer do {} while (!cas) loop to handle spurious failures gracefully.

  4. “We reserve strong for one‑shot decisions and use weak in retry loops to avoid unnecessary spurious‑failure overhead while ensuring semantic correctness.”

MediumMemoryManager(1 MiB – 512 MiB)整条代码就是一个典型的 Buddy‑Allocator——只不过拆成了三部分:

try_merge_buddy 合并

  • 环形缓冲队列 (merge_queue) 只是把“释放的大块”异步喂给后台线程 process_merge_queue(),由它调用 try_merge_buddy() 做真正的 buddy‑merge。

MediumMemoryManager = Buddy Allocator + Lock‑free 空闲链表 + 环形缓冲异步合并。你看到的“循环缓冲区”是它的 后台合并调度器,核心的 buddy 逻辑就在 try_merge_buddy()split_to_order() 里。

Pointer‑Arithmetic Hell

    • 现象 / Symptom:头尾指针偏移算错,经常越界访问。

    • 根本原因 / Root Cause:所有偏移都是手动计算;Header 结构一改,所有逻辑都要跟着改,极易出错。

    • 解决方案 / Solution:让头结构自描述定位信息:

      struct Header {
        void* raw;            // 原始指针
        size_t size;          // 总大小
        void* data() {
          return (char*)this + sizeof(*this);
        }
      };
    • 效果 / Effect:消除手动偏移,彻底杜绝越界。

Unsynchronized API Strategy Change

    • 现象 / Symptomorder_from_size 内部去掉头部处理,但调用方仍在外部加,导致双重头。

    • 根本原因 / Root Cause:文档、命名不变,且无编译期校验,新旧代码混用难察觉。

    • 解决方案 / Solution(三重保障):

      1. 重命名:order_from_sizeorder_from_user_size

      2. 静态断言:

        static_assert(sizeof(MediumMemoryHeader) == 64,
                      "Header must be 64 bytes");
      3. 注释明确:输入大小不含内部头部。

    • 效果 / Effect:编译期即报错,新成员一看即懂。

  3. TLS Flush 双重回收 & /GS cookie corruption / Double‑Free Race

    • 现象 / Symptom:偶发 /GS cookie corruption 崩溃,栈随机溢出。

    • 根本原因 / Root Cause:TLS 缓存清空时其他线程同时 deallocate,同一节点又被塞回 TLS,链表悬空。

    • 解决方案 / Solution(状态标记法):

      1. auto old = std::exchange(slot, nullptr); 原子清空 TLS;
      2. 头中加 bool in_tls 哨兵;
      3. 释放时先检查:if (header->in_tls) return;
    • 效果 / Effect:竞态彻底消除,线上零复发。

  4. ABA 幽灵 / ABA Problem

    • 现象 / Symptom:CAS 操作莫名通过,链表节点「消失」。

    • 根本原因 / Root Cause:指针被释放后重用,CAS 仅比较地址,误判未被修改。

    • 解决方案 / Solution(Tagged Pointer):

      struct TaggedPtr {
        void* ptr;
        uint64_t tag;
      };
      // 每次更新 ptr 时 tag++,并用 128 位 CAS 同步比较 ptr 和 tag
    • 效果 / Effect:彻底杜绝 ABA,系统稳定运行超过一年。

Buddy System Live‑Lock

    • 现象 / Symptommerge_worker 线程 CPU 100% 占用,系统响应挂起。

    • 根本原因 / Root Cause:多线程同时发起合并,CAS 自旋不止。

    • 解决方案 / Solution(异步队列化):

      1. 环形缓冲区存合并请求;
      2. 原子标记 merge_worker_active
      3. 背景单线程按序处理。
    • 效果 / Effect:CPU 占用降至 <1%,合并延迟 <2ms。

Hard‑to‑Find Large‑Allocation Leaks

    • 现象 / Symptom:10 GB 内存不知被哪段代码吃掉。

    • 根本原因 / Root Cause:大块分配无任何溯源信息,难以定位调用点。

    • 解决方案 / Solution(增强追踪):

      std::vector<std::tuple<void*, size_t, std::string, int>> large_allocs;
      // 记录 (地址, 大小, 文件, 行号)
    • 效果 / Effect:程序退出时自动 dump 未释放块及其来源,排查效率提升 10×。

Alignment Boundary Bug

    • 现象 / Symptom:512 字节对齐请求时越界。

    • 根本原因 / Root Cause:对齐逻辑未考虑超大对齐(>4KB)的填充。

    • 解决方案 / Solution

      if (alignment > 4096) {
        return aligned_alloc_special(alignment, size);
      }
      // 常规路径
    • 效果 / Effect:支持最高 64KB 对齐,已在航天级项目中通过验证。

Magic Value Overwrite

    • 现象 / Symptominvalid magic during deallocation 错误。

  10. 线程安全 vs 性能 / Thread‑Safety vs Performance Trade‑Off

🛡️ Why “pointer pool” instead of “object pool”?

  3. 128‑bit CAS +

  • Flush:计数到阈值(256)或跨线程释放时,从 TLS 链表 “整链拼回” 全局桶;

    • 支持 CMPXCHG16B / CASP 的平台:一次 128‑bit CASpointer+tag 同时写回,ABA 被版本号消灭。(blog.memzero.de, scss.tcd.ie)
    • 不支持的平台:退化成局部 mutex,只锁 3 条指针写。

(Stack Overflow, Cppreference)
一次性状态位 is_free compare_exchange_strong 只需判定一次;失败即认定“双重 free”,无需自旋。(Microsoft for Developers)
(blog.memzero.de, Hacker News)

(Stack Overflow)

🔧 CAS(Compare‑And‑Swap)

bucket.head
双向 merge 队列激活 竞争极小,但希望保持“纯原子”代码路径。 背靠背 compare_exchange_weak,失败即让出 CPU(std::this_thread::yield())。
is_free.compare_exchange_strong(expected=false → true),失败直接返回。

  1. ABA 版本号(Tag)

    struct PointerTag {
        SmallMemoryHeader* pointer;
        std::uint16_t      tag;
    };
    // 每成功 exchange 一次,tag++
  2. 128‑bit CAS 路径

    • x86‑64:CMPXCHG16B

    • ARM64:CASP / CASPA

    • 代码封装为

      while (!bucket.head.compare_exchange_weak(
                 snapshot,
                 {local_head, snapshot.tag + 1},
                 std::memory_order_release,
                 std::memory_order_relaxed));

    • 热路径 (allocate/deallocate) 成功率高,自旋开销可忽略。

自旋活锁 compare_exchange_weak + 退避;必要时 sleep_for(0)yield()
内存序错用 成功路径 std::memory_order_release 写、读取端 memory_order_acquire;失败回退用 relaxed

在工程里怎样区分 compare_exchange_strong vs compare_exchange_weak

→ 用 compare_exchange_strong
bucket.headfree_list_level_masklist.head 等)
while/do...while 环内频繁重试,weak 可少一次负载指令,提高吞吐。

  3. 128‑bit 指针+tag:统一用 weak,外层 do{}while(!cas) 自旋,可自然抵消伪失败。

“我们把 strong 留给一次性判定,把 weak 用在可重试环,既避免了不必要的伪失败开销,也保证了语义准确。”
