:emoji: for Messenger

A Chromium extension that enables users to use customizable Discord-style :emoji: on Facebook/Facebook Messenger.

Quickly type your favorite emoji in any chatbox. Customize your own list of emojis.

Install

Download the extension zip file from Releases.
Extract the zip file.
Drag-n-drop the extracted folder into your browser extentsions page (chrome://extensions). You might have to turn on developer mode.

Edit the extension options to fit your preferences.
Enable/disable the extension from the toolbar action icon.
On www.messenger.com or www.facebook.com pages, all :emoji: in chat/comment section will be converted into the corresponding emoji (eg. :orz: into 🙇‍♂️).
If the browser asks to turn off extensions in developer mode, choose "Not now" > "Remind in 2 weeks".
