I’m Igor Medeiros, a Senior Software Engineer based in Berlin, where I help Babbel create solutions that ultimately makes language learning more accessible, interactive and fun.

My day-to-day work involves designing cloud-native systems with AWS Lambda, Kinesis, and DynamoDB, using TypeScript most of the time. I also focus on improving developer workflows—whether that’s creating helpful tools, sharing best practices, or mentoring colleagues.

Outside of Babbel, I’m passionate about open source. I’ve organized Python meetups and contributed to community projects, and I’m always on the lookout for ways that applied AI can simplify our work and delight users.
