Some deps are dropped for more simpl impl (e.g nom/nom-regex), some replaces by more lightweight (e.g structopt -> argh). Besides yofi split into lib/main crates.
Overall the build time reduced almost 2 times on my machine. As a bonus new sctk allows to better code organization imo.
Besides most of the panics are converted into errors for better reporting.
